Conversation with Russell Lucas
Russell lives in Emsworth, Hampshire. He works as an experienced carpenter and
general builder. He has four grown up daughters and supports Portsmouth FC.
Andy Economides is helping Russell become a disciple that makes disciples and
to become a trainer.
Q: What happened to you recently? and work. My church groups help
About one year ago, I was extremely
low. In addi琀椀on, I was feeling
something was missing. A few months
a昀琀er that, I felt compelled to go
to church and a琀琀ended St James,
Emsworth one Sunday morning. From
that day onwards, my whole life has
been turned around with happiness,
joy, and peace. I have not experienced
such peace since the birth of my four
daughters. I was so glad to be bap琀椀sed
in the sea in Emsworth a昀琀er I had
encountered Jesus for real.
Q: What is most important to you?
Having faith in Jesus and knowing
He is with me helps me with my life
me and teach me all about God and
life.
Q: What has Jesus done for you?
Jesus Christ has given me an inner
strength which enables me to talk
about God and the Good News to
everybody I meet in my everyday life.
Q: What do you want to do in the
future?
Through my mee琀椀ngs with Andy
Economides and many others, like
Naomi, I truly feel I have the ability to
bring people to Jesus in a way I feel
they would understand the bene昀椀ts of
having God in their lives.
