Glorious Dinner and Buffet Evenings
and Glorious Curry Evening

Evangelist Mark Ritchie was an
excellent guest speaker at the Glorious
Dinner held at the Village Hotel,
Portsmouth with 148 people a琀琀ending.
About half were invited guests who
did not know Jesus. With humour and
simplicity, Mark communicated the
Good News. Many indicated a posi琀椀ve
response to know Jesus.
Andy Economides writes:
‘St. Mary’s Church Portchester led by
the Minister Rev. Dr Ian Meredith had
three tables at the Glorious Dinner. As
a result, many of the St Mary’s non-
Response cards were 昀椀lled on the
evening with follow up. The dinner
was also followed up with the Glorious
Bu昀昀et Evening. The Glorious Curry
evening was held in October 2024
with 57 a琀琀ending and about half were
non-Chris琀椀an guests. Andy Economides
proclaimed the Good News with
simplicity and directness with, as
always, an immediate opportunity to
know Jesus.
Chris琀椀an guests signed up to a琀琀end
their church Alpha course which started
a昀琀er the event. Many encouragements
with people moving towards Christ and
others hearing the Good News.’
