Young people listened gladly about the
Saviour and Lekan shared his story.
Lekan’s Ordina琀椀on
On the 8 May 2024, in the chapel at
the Soteria Business School, Lekan
Adejumo was ordained. Those present
and involved were Pastor Tunde of
the Soteria Church, New Life Church
pastors and leaders including Pastor
Lasisi, Pastor Joshua of the GOFAMINT
churches, and Andy Economides. Also
a琀琀ending were Lekan’s mother and
brothers, past and present Soteria
students, Lekan’s friends, and SBS sta昀昀.
A glorious occasion recognising God’s
calling and gi昀琀ing on Lekan’s life who is
set apart for evangelism, pastoral care,
and leadership.
Jedidiah writes:
‘Andy Economides has helped me in
be琀琀er understanding and ful昀椀lling
my ministry. This has led to the
founding of Disciples Avenue, a ministry
commi琀琀ed to raising and maturing
disciples for Christ Jesus through the
sharing of God’s love. At Disciples
Avenue, we con琀椀nue
to enjoy discipleship
training, resources
and mentorship
through the Soteria
Trust.’

Lekan’s Highlight:
It is a great blessing and honour
for me to be part of the ministry of
Soteria Trust to give less privileged
children and young people in
Ibadan, Nigeria opportunity to
be educated and to know Jesus.
It was great to see young people
at the mission school growing in
the love and knowledge of Jesus.
They are being discipled in a
healthy Chris琀椀an environment and
being prepared for life. Vulnerable
children were full of joy to see us
as they write and reply to their UK
sponsor le琀琀ers and cards. It gives
me joy to see their beau琀椀ful faces.
