Conversation with Joseph and
Joy Lasisi
Joseph Lasisi a Soteria Trust sponsored child at our partner school, Prospect. He
昀椀nished Prospect secondary school and came to Soteria Business School to study
Microso昀琀 Applica琀椀on and Desktop Publishing for six months. He furthered his
educa琀椀on at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
His father, Pastor B T Lasisi is a senior leader in the many New Life Churches in
Nigeria. Joseph was appointed as Works and Promo琀椀onal Manager with pastoral
responsibili琀椀es at SBS one and half years ago. Joseph and Joy got married 昀椀ve
months ago. Joy has a Bsc. in Home Science and Management (Child Development
and Family Studies). They live at SBS. Joseph and Joy provide spiritual discipleship
and pastoral care for young people at SBS. They also provide extra Maths and
English lessons to the Oboda children who board at Prospect and disciple them.
Joy is the Welfare O昀케cer at SBS.
Q: Joseph, how did you meet Joy and
what a琀琀racted you to her?
Q: Joy, what quali琀椀es do you admire
about your husband?
As undergraduates in the university,
we became closer months before my
gradua琀椀on, she was in her 昀椀nal year.
I realised she’s got a proven love for
God and passion for children and young
people. I was very impressed with her
hard work and commitment.
I admire Joseph’s rare humility, wisdom,
and sel昀氀ess devo琀椀on to God. His kind,
loving heart and divine wisdom inspire
me daily, solving challenges e昀昀ortlessly.

grace and extraordinary character.
