estored & Revived provides a weekly word for daily living.
May the Lord restore and revive you as you set aside
quiet time to read, think, and pray. Restored & Revived
looks at how the Holy Spirit can work in and through the life
of a true believer. To help us do this, 29 messages are devoted
to covering all 28 chapters from the early Christian church as
chronicled in the book of Acts.
The difference between the western evangelicalism of Christianity
today and the early church is like the difference between chalk
and cheese. Restoration and revival in the power of the Holy
Spirit is desperately needed. It starts with you and me.
Let us wait upon the Lord. Leonard Ravenhill (1907–1994) was
an English Christian evangelist and author. He focused on prayer
and revival. Ravenhill said:
A man who is intimate with God will never be intimidated by men.
I am especially delighted to have covered subjects that I believe
will assist to restore and revive God’s people, including: the
baptism of the Holy Spirit, the second coming of Jesus, inspiring
lives, boundaries, confrontation, abuse, and he hates or God hates
(Malachi 2:16). Do we want God? Ravenhill said:
I’d rather have 10 people that want God than 10,000 people
who want to play church.
May you know the presence and life-changing fellowship and
power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Be renewed and refreshed and
blessed by the risen Jesus. Shalom.
