have also experienced how a loving and inclusive Christian
community that emulates Jesus’ meeting of everyone with
a compassionate awareness of the complexities of life and
relationships, can bring healing, dignity, and renewal.
I hope and pray that Andy Economides’ book will
encourage Christian communities to extend Jesus’
compassion to everyone, regardless of their relational
situation, to enable all to live an abundant and full life in
God’s loving gaze.

As someone who has experienced the pain of divorce,
I can safely say that it is an agonising experience that I
would not wish on anybody. But there is healing, hope,
and life after divorce because God is always able to rewrite
the story of our lives.
I hope that this book from Andy Economides will be a
great help to many as they seek to grapple with what the
Scriptures say about divorce, remarriage, and being single.
Jesus, who is full of grace and truth, will always be the
good news for us all, whatever our back story.
