ABOUT THE COVER,
ANCIENT HEBREW TEXT
The cover for this book is an example of ancient Hebrew
texts discovered at Qumran, Israel.
The Dead Sea Scrolls, also known as the Qumran Cave
Scrolls, are ancient Jewish scrolls consisting of over 900
biblical and non-biblical manuscripts found in eleven
caves at Qumran.
To find the true wording, and therefore meaning, of
Malachi 2:16, this book considers ancient texts both
Hebrew and otherwise. Included in the investigation we
examine the Hebrew text from Qumran from manuscript
4QXIIa which contains portions of Malachi 2:10 – 3:24.
